This is a place where I play with ideas. Sometimes I post a lot, sometimes very little. Depends on what’s going on in my life. In this journal you’ll find all kinds of random stuff. If you don't like it, don't read it. I post thoughts, events in my life, appreciations, articles on relationship and how to relate more effectively, diatribes on how things should be, rants against things that piss me off.

About me:
OK, let's see. Male. Poly. Bi. Pagan. Poet. Married. Have one additional live in sweetie and one almost live in sweetie. Have 2 kids (one is grown and moved out). And a house. And the pool. We're the hosts of the San Leandro Poly Pool Party.
We're also relationship coaches, healers and teachers. This is my calling. When I found out that relationship coaching/training was what I wanted to do, I looked back over my life and realized I'd been doing it all along. We have presented workshops on our relationship work at a variety of venues, starting with the West Coast Loving More conference. We have presented on a host of topics about relationship management, agreements, jealousy, polyamory, "Poly For The Shy" (for poly people who have trouble connecting with new people), "How to write a great personals ad", and several more.
I'm someone who asks 'Why?' to anything that I don't like. Often the answer is 'because that's how it's always been done', which for me is an invitation to examine it and see if there's a better way. I try and live a transparent life, so nothing about me is hidden, you can literally ask me anything about me and get a straight answer. This isn't always safe in the sense of preventing drama, but I think in the long run it prevents more than it creates.
I'm attracted to people at least as much for who they are inside as who they are outside. I choose who I get involved with based on my intuition. If my intuition tells me that someone will have an important role in my life, I pursue them. But with great patience. I don’t want to pressure anyone into anything if it can be avoided.
We’re also writers, amateur neuropharmacologists, pagans... I'm also a Software QA Test Automation Engineer... That’s what currently pays the bills.
I’m a Taurus, and an INFP, tho folks who are just coming to know me are always surprised to find that I’m an introvert... I don’t look like one because over the years, with much effort, I’ve become far more socially adept than I used to be.

I am enjoying meeting new people here, my most common way is to either see someone new in my friends list, or to see who replies to me. Usually I'll go scope out their profile page when that happens. Just to get to know them a little better.
I use chat at work, and sometimes have it up in the evening. I use Trillian so that all my chat accounts are in one program. Sometimes I lurk invisibly, so I may be there even if I don't look it.
I tend to read my friends' LJ less frequently than I would like, simply don't have the time. I have a few that I try (often unsuccessfully) to read every day, and then the rest if I get some spare minutes.
So if you're not on my friends list, please don't take offence. It doesn't mean I don't like you.
